If we get english language previews for the game, which I imagine we will, would this week be likely since its a month out?
Either this week or next also I know someone on discord said Nintendo is handling review copies so who knows if people have it already. If we get english language previews for the game, which I imagine we will, would this week be likely since its a month out?
Luckily for you, they mentioned having multiple difficulty options.I voted not hyped even though I’m interested in the game. SMT games are brutally hard for me so I’ve always approach them with caution.
Welp, didn’t know that. Day 1 now I guess!Luckily for you, they mentioned having multiple difficulty options.
Which is a great thing considering accessibility is a positive thing to have.
Just to add info here, there are two easier difficulty modes, with the easiest mode being free DLC (no, no one knows why it's DLC).Welp, didn’t know that. Day 1 now I guess!

Animations on point.
I would kill for an animated trailer for SMT V like the one Strange Journey Redux got. This animated trailer looks fantastic and I'm in the belief that SMT would make for a great anime if done well.
I played some of SMT IV, but ended up watching someone play it online instead. This would be my first SMT game I plan to play. This will be my first smt game (only played persona 5 before) cant wait
this is a more dungeon crawling focused game, so you're definitely in the right placeNever played a SMT game,.
I really like jrpgs like FFIX, Xenoblade, DQXI or dungeon crawlers like Dark Souls (in fact it is one of my favourite games in my life), what i'm in for?
I just want to see a dungeon
New Samurai-san challenge, this time he's actually playing SMT V. Hope it won't just be the first area again
I mean on one hand I don't want to see any more of the game, but on the other hand I wanna see gameplay of anything but the first area lolI just want to see a dungeon![]()
I wouldn't have fears in regards to that because recent gameplay vids look a lot optimized compared to its first showing at E3.My only fear about this game is the performance, at least stable 30fps pls Atlus.
You know they will just show off the first area lmao.I mean on one hand I don't want to see any more of the game, but on the other hand I wanna see gameplay of anything but the first area lol
If you guys are interested the Samurai Megaten challenge video has footage of the fight with Nuwa

But will we be able to turn off encounters?Luckily for you, they mentioned having multiple difficulty options.

I have terrible flashbacks to trying to find my way through the underground city in SMTIV and running into demons every few steps in some areas. It was terrible.
I'm digging the speed. So this game is entirely open-world? No top down maps with random encounters anymore? Sweet.![]()
With the fast movement the protagonist has, it shouldn't be as terrible as it was in SMT 4. You should be able evade counters easily plus they are fully 3D now too.

Shoot. This might be day 1 for me then, any words on a English dub?I don't know if it's fully open-world. It might be like Xenoblade where areas are larger in that it allows for exploration, but not completely open world.

Doesn't look like it's open world. Those "alternate Tokyo" could be segments of a dungeon. Feels like an open world but probably is a one giant labyrinth, with doors and gateways guarded by boss battles.I don't know if it's fully open-world. It might be like Xenoblade where areas are larger in that it allows for exploration, but not completely open world.
It's probably structured in separate areas that allow for some exploration. It's most certainly no open world game.I'm digging the speed. So this game is entirely open-world? No top down maps with random encounters anymore? Sweet.
