Introduction​

Its that time of year again where the game industry will come out of its shell and reveal their latest and greatest games this summer. Unlike last year E3 will not be held this year meaning many companies will do their own showcases without the E3/ESA involement, this thread will be your goto guide on upcoming gaming showcases happening this summer. To keep this thread neat I will be only making banners for major parties (Xbox, Nintendo and Ubisoft ect) and guaranteed significant showcases (Summer Game Fest, PC Gaming Show and Devolver Digital ect) so dont expect me to make an Intellivision Amico or Gearbox banner.

The GT Final Fantasy/Shenmue reaction is an all-time great moment and perfectly captures the magic of the gaming industry this time of year. (Usually...)
 
Xbox conference is nothing I'm interested in at all.

SGF could be interesting. Last year was decent. Wonder what grand finale Geoff has secured this time around, if he has any.

They have said this one is as long as the previous one so I think they will just stick to 90min +- for their big event and use other events for 'minor' games

Geoff confirmed to keep expectations low (trust me I already had very low expectations). Basically he was saying other companies will want to do their own thing (like Nintendo direct, Microsoft direct)

Yeah very unusual for Geoff he usually over hype his show maybe he has gotten wind of what Xbox is showing and position the kickoff to something like YouTube Live E3 the previous years he has hosted.

I kinda feel the same but he usually has one or two good things per show i feel so i never feel i wasted my time aside from that Fast and Furious thing which was just....

They will almost certainly add Activision (maybe even Blizzard) to their showcase title. I think it will be fun to see how many company names they can cram in there.
