I like the depressing ending and I actually think 2 would benefit from such an ending as well. Pyra and Mythra should have stayed dead instead of being split at the end. It kind of undid her sacrifice before that. I’m actually happy they went there for 3.

Also a very interesting fact, that nobody talks (maybe alot are playing on emulators and not on swicthes). This game is Switch Pro/2 Ready. It always use 96% of CPU and GPU on switch, it doesnt matter if I ultra overclock it or only overlock a little it takes it all to run as clear as possible.

the vast majority of people will be playing on actual switches so yeah I do expect it to be talked about.

It will really interesting if that's true. Actually, would the children of Rex and the girls be as long lived as their mothers or they would fall more in-line with the normal "human" lifespan of Xeno 2 world? oh I haven't seen the Shulk statue, but from what I can tell callbacks to 1 and 2 are limited to the ending, and after Nia looks at the picture and hugs Poppi we get Melias equivalent and it's just her with the Monado

It won’t really matter in the long run & may even help out the legs for this game from people loudly proclaiming how terrible it is. I’m still quite frankly baffled at how one game broke people this badly, & not in a good way. Like you had to have known something like this was coming in some form or fashion heading into this game especially if you theorized it had connections with 1 & 2.

yeah, i don't like the implications, or the message it's sending (and never particularly liked that they brough Pyra and Mythra back at the end of XC2) but given that it's meant to be a quick reference to XB2 it's not gonna put me off XC3.

I feel somewhat (and I may be wrong) that the people who are going to be outraged the most about it likely were never going to play this game anyway. Each to their own though- everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Yeah, my hopes for the rest of the game aren’t high any more. Loved 1, thought X was okay, and was so disappointed by 2 that I sold it.

It’s not the scene in itself that is the problem, it’s how Monolithsoft like to dump on their female characters in general. It’s signaling that 3 might not be any better than 2 in that regard.
