It's most likely late port but Atlus going after the double dip money by not announcing it with the other platforms is just lame.If Nintendo wants to diversify their console library, they must expand big time. Third party seems to want to avoid at all costs bringing games to Nintendo platforms. They will ignore unless Nintendo is willing to pay for it.
Its a shame, but it its what it is.
If not even a 100 million consoles that is still selling like hot cacke can change their kind, nothing ever will.

This is mindboggling - How did this not get announced on Switch.
There's nothing visually in that trailer that suggests this wouldnt run on Switch.
Switch version mostly likely to come later, Atlus avoiding announcing it now for the double dip sales. This is becoming an ugly trend these days: Alan Wake, Prince of Persia, Life is Strange games...This is mindboggling - How did this not get announced on Switch.

???this better be the last time they reuse these models. that shit was old in SMTV let alone another new game. the whole appeal of this series is seeing cool new monsters and that aspect is almost gone now.
And welcome back my crippling depression...between this and the the latest (great) Direct (with its absolute lack of any meaningful third party effort) I'd say that in-between the skepticism pre-launch and the almighty new gen consoles already in the market...welcome back, good ol' Nintendo (first party + indie) console...
So this is really Tokyo Mirage Sessions 2 using the Soul Hackers brand instead.
They talked a lot about the Phantom Society in the announcement. They clearly know what they are doing it seems.Almost feels like Atlus trying to chase Persona-money by reviving the Soul Hackers IP infused with some TMS.
... I know I sound salty. It's because I am

They reused the PS2 models for years and the demon roster in the DS/3DS games were mostly existing art. They're going to be using these models for a long time.this better be the last time they reuse these models. that shit was old in SMTV let alone another new game. the whole appeal of this series is seeing cool new monsters and that aspect is almost gone now.

That's my point....which is a group already in the original game.
Yeah and its boring and needs a change???
They released like 5 PS2 games using the same demon models from SMT Nine, more if you count expansions. Atlus are known for getting the most of their assets.
smtv ones were a waste of effort if they were new because they look the same. they need something new like they did for 3dsthese aren't the same models as far as i know. SMTV had new ones. these seem like P5 models
If it's that bad, why not play on something else for a bit?And welcome back my crippling depression...
