Kelloggs-Cereal-Straws-Set-To-Return-In-October-2021-678x381.jpg

After a 12-year hiatus, Kellogg’s is bringing back edible Cereal Straws later this fall.

Arriving at retailers nationwide in October, 2021, the fan-favorites will return in two cereal flavors: Kellogg’s Froot Loops and Kellogg’s Cocoa Krispies.
(Back in March)

For those of you who weren't aware, Kellogg's introduced these iconic drink enjoyers back in June 2007, and lasted for about 2 glorious years.
There was also an Apple Jacks flavor, but i'd imagine they wanted to start simple.

As for where you can purchase these. It sounds like they should be at any grocery store, But Kelloggs is suggesting to buy them online at a specific candy store.

I have vague memories of buying some knockoff in Spain when I was a kid in the early 2000s. I don't remember if the original deal was sold here too, tbh.

It can only be an improvement above the paper straws that they now use in the EU. I get it, plastic is bad, but it's such a miserable experience to use paper straws, it tastes so bad.
For use at home I own a glass one now, but on the go or in a fast food restaurant? It's suffering. I would rather take cereal ones, but those will taste bad with coke too, lol.

Bringing back.. we never had them here to begin with.

Are they any different than those rolled long cookies you can eat with coffee?

(To prove it's real, i dug around and can confirm the name listed in the e-mail works as an Ecommerce Specialist at Galerie Candy. and i can't imagine someone going through all that effort just to fake an E-mail for such a niche product.)
