not everything Outright has made is bad, but i have my doubts they've got a company like Purple Lamp working on this.

they've had them as far back as 2020. (Race With Ryan also technically counts, though i believe Nick only syndicated that show)
the initial agreement between THQ Nordic and Nickelodeon only revolved around re-releasing the older games published by the original THQ, but they at least worked something out to ensure Cosmic Shake got made.

I love sponge bob so much. I still rewatch it regularly, I adored all 3 movies, and were in a bit of a Spongebob gaming renaissance with the battle for bikini bottom remaster, and the cosmic shake. Cosmic shake is probably the best sponge bob game yet, and its a super solid 3d platformer in its own right. That being said, since this is outright games and not purple lamp, I expect this to be a much smaller budget affair with questionable quality

still no word on who exactly is making it, but the fact it showed up in a Nintendo Direct is encouraging.
