I don't believe it's uncommon for maintenance to be shorter than expected, but good catch. I always forget to check for these.

I think folks said there's gonna be a switch firmware upgrade tonight too, to support the controllers.

My controller just arrived! Woohoo. I didn't expect it until monday actually.... so that's a nice surprise. and just in time for the launch!

I really am dense because I kept looking for what the monthly cost was going to be until I realized there was only an upfront $50 for 1 year option. Nostalgia bait is tempting, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to throw that money down right now, especially since I plan to just purchase the AC update to own. I'll probably cave and update eventually, but I think I'll attempt to hold out for now.

I'm overly excited for this update. I loved the N64 as a kid and haven't played most of these games since. I feel like I've played the NES & SNES classics a million times on a million consoles, but the N64 has always been harder to replay. I didn't buy any of the virtual console N64 titles so it'll be the first time I revisit most of these games. Can't wait.

Zfg (famous OOT speedrunner) is saying the emulator is trash, worse than Wii U VC. Immediate problems are bad input lag, bad controls, and weird emulation (OOT's fog is noticably fucked up).

How the online multiplayer is working for everyone? Saw some clips on Twitter of people having a terrible experience, but I rather not trust these after the Sonic Colors debacle

It says they measure it by days left and i'm not sure how they apply that to dollars so worth looking just to see what your discount is.

EDIT: it is 5 cents per day remaining taken off.

You should be able to, when I went to upgrade my sub it gave me the option of renewing my current plan for another year.

No, there should be an option to upgrade and you'll get a discount on however many days you have left on your subscription. It only cost me like $50 today to upgrade the family plan.

All the purchase options are grayed out and say "This cannot be purchased because someone in your family has an active family membership" both on the eShop and from the browser store.
