In other news. This arrived today for me and, I think, my record collection is officially done:
Much like how I felt upon finishing the Mario Galaxy duology... my music collection has peaked. It's only downhill from here.
Seriously if you ever want to take my tastes seriously look at this post and assume otherwise
I didnt manage to play prime during its prime.I'm in the mood to stir up trouble. Which is the better game, Metroid Dread or Metroid Prime?
This is the most encouraging news for a new F-ZERO I can recall. There being advocates for a series at the company seems to mean a lot.
Prime is still betterI'm in the mood to stir up trouble. Which is the better game, Metroid Dread or Metroid Prime?
I'm still gonna love it just for the memes.1-2 Switch sequel

Up until the point where the game grinds to a crawl because you need to go back and collect the 12 artifacts or something instead of getting on with thingsPrime is one of the greatest games ever made
get out dot gifNone of those Metroid games are as good as Hollow Knight.
Manscaped Jersey?Who's going to be rockin' the official Nate the Hate jersey?
If it’s pink and black, then sure.Who's going to be rockin' the official Nate the Hate jersey?
Manscaped Jersey?
If it’s pink and black, then sure.
As a leafs fan, I get it.A Nate the Hate jersey isn't something you put on. It's something you take off.
You just created 10 pages of hype and speculation.
While I'm not sure if Zero Mission is the best, since I didn't have much time with Super, I really vibed with Zero Mission. It has a terrible 100% completion, but a basic, casual play is so much fun.All the people that think Metroid Zero Mission is the best say “Hey!”
You have to watch 12 Angry Men soon! One of the most perfect distillations of prejudice and empathy I've ever seen in a film, and it's riveting despite being confined to one location. Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb are sensational.I need to rewatch Eternal Sunshine one day. Loved it when I watched it but I’ve only seen it twice and that was over a decade ago lol. The films I’ve listed were all ones I’ve rewatched over the last year or two. Pendemic gave me a lot of time to dig in.
-I think Goodfellas would’ve made my top 10 if it was just paced a little better at the end. It’s such a rollercoaster movie that it’s exhausting watching and you start to feel like Henry at the end. Still, one of the best soundtracks in film ever that’s for sure.
-I love that inglorious Basterds allowed itself to be sub-titled. Always annoying seeing a lot of Hollywood films speaking English in non-English speaking countries lol, like there was a scene in Wonder Woman 2017 where it’s Germany but every soldier is speaking English. Only a few words too, just let them speak German. Ratatouille is a bit guilty of this and not having any French actors is still a issue I have with the film. But the movie feels like it drags too me when I watch it. I find it unfortunate that I prefer scenes from the film then I do rewatching the film itself. Still tho, it’s a film I wish it came out today to see the reactions lol.
- I love Whiplash. But there’s a ton more films about obsession that I perfer. Like The Prestige and whatnot. Tho Whiplash been really simplistic helps out a ton. But it is glaring in some scenes like the dinner one that felt more “rushed” and the relationship scene falls flat for me due to having so little time. Even then, great film and loved the ending.
- 12 Angry Men is one I have yet gotten the chance to see. I guess you can say it’s on my backlog lol
-Parasite is Fantastic. But I’ve only seen it once in theaters and would love to watch it again in the future before putting it in any list. Off the bat, I think I still prefer Oldboy for South Korean Films
- scream. I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t care for it when I re-watched it. love the opening scene but it still didn’t leave much else for me. I’m not really a big Horror genre person, films don’t really scare me cause it’s film and my mind catches all the editing and tricks no matter how many times I turn off my brain. Even horror games line Until Dawn, I could spot the jump scares a mile Away and felt more of a chore to see. It might be slasher films. The Thing is a absolute favorite of mine.
Film discussion is fun.

It's not fifteen, it's one-five. Meaning, you guessed it, Team January stays winning.I support Nate in any athletic endeavors, especially those sponsored by Manscaped. I also would be a happy man if the jersey was pointing to an E3-esque Direct announcement tomorrow (May 15th), or the actual air date being June 15th. Either way...go sports?

Metroid Dread and Hollow Knight are about even IMO. Metroid Dread has the advantage in gameplay, combat, control, and cinematic presentation (all the cutscenes and overlooks), while Hollow Knight has the edge when it comes to level design, artstyle, music, and amount of content. The boss battles are phenomenal in both. I like playing Dread better, but that's more a testament to how good it feels to control. If Hollow Knight has one weakness it would be the lack of direction (it's really easy to get lost), while if Dread had one weakness it would be that it's a little too linear (AFAIK you'll never find a hidden boss or a hidden weapon). They kinda balance each other out.None of those Metroid games are as good as Hollow Knight.

Damn, that looks even cleaner on the actual shop than in the image you posted. Love the color scheme!
Idk I prefer the combat in Hollow Knight. I prefer the poke and dodge type approach and also that you can pogo bounce with your sword over Metroid’s whole shoot 1000 projectiles everywhere deal.Metroid Dread and Hollow Knight are about even IMO. That being said, this is like comparing Gravity Falls and Avatar The Last Airbender. We're lucky to have both.
I was more referring to the control of the character. Apologies for the mixup, I didn't know what else to call it. Samus just feels absolutely fantastic to control, easily the best out of any video game I've ever played. Sliding, double jumping, free aiming, etc, all feels completely natural.Idk I prefer the combat in Hollow Knight. Controls as well I didn’t think Dread was great? Too many different buttons to hold to use missiles and aim and stuff, I pressed the wrong combo of buttons extremely often.
I also never really found myself getting lost. It’s a big map but I always had a direction to explore in and never got stumped.
But yes, both games are phenomenal and we are in a golden age.
