That said, it sounds like people that prefer Melee over modern Smash are loving it, but the publisher dropped the ball by not providing bigger budgets for development and marketing.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of it developing a strong grassroots scene though.

I'm so happy from yesterday's presentation. I was good with the second DLC pass after Sephiroth and Pyra/Mythra. To get Sora on top of all that is making my brain melt.

No source, but Spacelords released in 2017 (when Samus Returns released) and later ported to PS5 and XSX in 2020 (about a year before Metroid Dread). Would make sense that two different teams worked on those projects given the release dates.

The only shipping emails I got recently were for 2 movies and a book lmao

Also - I’m hoping for one more shot at the Dread SE and amiibo set, but it’s a long shot. Happy for every single person who gets those glorious items on Friday.

Yeah my Amazon copy says the same thing. I'm hoping that its an error on their part, because I have a fulfillment center pretty close to me. But ... I don't really recall Amazon saying that a package would come later than it actually did for pre-orders, only for already released items, so I'm kind of worried.

Might have to pick it up from a store ... or worse ... digitally : ( : ( : (
