I don't think that's the case, because three of the biggest games that would actually draw people to that, being Metroid Prime and WWHD+TPHD would already be coming over as separate releases. Nintendo knows they can make more money of off separate GameCube remasters.

I'm not aware of GCN NSO plans. Doesn't mean they don't exist. Just not something that I have heard, personally.
