To recap, after his dispute with Bethesda over how DOOM Eternal's soundtrack turned out. Mick has proceeded to collaborate with numerous Metal Artists.
First, he produced an entire album with Bring Me The Horizon. (The band's frontman got the idea after playing Eternal, fittingly enough.)

Then, he dropped this single with 3TEETH. Which is also supposed to lead into an album fully produced by him apparently.

and as of today. The band known as "MONUMENTS" dropped this new single featuring him. Called "Lavos".

For the record, Mick hasn't completely left composing music for games just yet. He's actively working on Atomic Heart, and he still happily mentions ROUTINE on his website. Even though it's currently stuck in development hell.

Though you do have to wonder how many more titles he's planning to do, Bethesda was pretty much his main studio in terms of collaborations. So with them out of the picture, that poses some questions. Maybe Microsoft will bring him back to work on a Killer Instinct sequel? šŸ„ŗ

His work on Doom and Wolfenstein is absolutely incredible. Its a real shame that relationship broke down, I'm not super interested in passing judgment either way but certainly as the end consumer it's a bummer. BMTH really is not my thing haha but I'll keep following his career.

For anyone super interested, the noclip documentary on the making of Doom 2016 features him speaking about his process, and spun out this wonderful half hour interview:

Paralyze has been my number 1 favorite song since it came out. I had no idea Mick Gordon was involved.

Ho99o9, 3Teeth, and Gordon on one track. Hot damn.

Also my first post yall!
