Let's talk Halloween decorations

This is the first year I'm decorating and living in a single family home so we're kind of going all out. I've got 2 inflatables and a set of lights plugged into my front yard outlet. But seeing as how I've never done this before, what's the protocol on how long you leave them all plugged in? Am I supposed to unplug them before I go to bed? Or do I just leave them on 24/7, energy bill be damned?

How do you all decorate? Do you go for spoopy or do you enjoy ruining kids' childhoods?
