They do the same for genshin. I guess it's to make sure story content doesn't end too early. It does seem that they are making the Luofu storyline more ambitious than the Belobog one.
Though it is strange that we'll have to wait until ver 1.2 for a continuation. Especially since ver. 1.1 will have hangouts with characters that none of the main cast has met except for Dan Heng.
 
Shop resets tomorrow. If you haven't done so already, Exchange your Embers for the monthly passes and make sure you have at least 450 for special passes.

I honestly suggest starting now if your objective is Kafka, otherwise you won't have enough passes fro a guaranteed when her banner ends (she's expected to be second half of 1.2)

Yeah you'll have more than enough time if you start today and play daily. Progress seems to be account/server bound. I don't play Genshin, but I'm under the impression that you can have everything on one account across all devices.

Every single one I just mentioned has no BS RNG microtransactions that lock content out from players who don't want to become enslaved to the game to unlock a character for instance.
Not to mention the stamina system* present in every single gacha (including this one), only put in place because gacha developers design games to release with an amount of content that would be completed by players in around a week or so if not for a system that actively prevents the player from progressing by forcing them to pay a stock-limited currency to complete ordeals and having them wait out hours for it to refresh.
Instead of, I don't know... releasing the game with enough content for players to enjoy months of gameplay while actively working hard to release a major path later? like most MORPGS.

I swear, most gacha players would easily transition to something like FF14 if they managed to finish the MSQ and realized the game has actual dungeons instead of the crap Mihoyo puts out.

At least genshin has some actually okay-ish character designs. Honkai impact and starrail both have this generic ass look to over half their character roster.

Well, so far in my time playing this game I haven’t seen any straight up hate for minority groups that the Persona series peddles, so that right there is a good enough reason to play this and not those.

We still don't know how many Stellar jades each of the events give. Minor events should be 600 SJ considering the last one gave that much, Main events are unknown.
I Did almost all sidequests, got 144 achievements, completed world 2 of simulated universe, got 20 stars in the forgotten hall, reached Trailblazer level 44 and did dailies since I unlocked them, and with the 10 special passes and 5 from the may shop reset, I made 131 pulls. I have around 15 extra pulls left.
If you want to reach at least hard pity for kafka, so at least 150, I think you should start now.
Also progress is tied to your account, so you can transfer it to PS5.

They already did her drip marketing, which is usually reserved for characters arriving in the near future
Plus I checked the leak thread on reddit, Info about her kit seems to have already been datamined. And considering they're already giving us Silver Wolf despite her not appearing in the story aside from the prologue, Kafka being this early seems likely.
Blade also has gameplay videos.

fwiw I'm content complete on everything but SU and MoC. Forgotten Hall maxed out and SUs done through 2nd difficulty and a bit on third. I maxed the 10 dollar pass and grabbed daily provisions and I've probably ended up with well over a couple hundred pulls worth of jade and tickets. I know it's kinda shitty to hear but the 5 dollar pass and grabbing the next Nameless Honor om 1.1 for 10 bucks will get you there easily if you can be caught up on content by Kafka banner (which is pretty reasonable to do imo). You can probably generate 150 pulls by then without it but it'll be definitely a bit closer? God I should've tracked my pulls better.

So I went and looked and I did 90 pulls on the Seele banner, and 218 pulls on the standard banner. I'm currently sitting on 25 gold passes and another 60 pulls worth of Jade. There should also be the 50 pulls on the starter banner too?

No, starter banner isn't counted in the standard banner pull history.
Also how do have 218 on the standard? I'm at 80.

After I hit Seele I yolo pulled on it with some Jade I had for that banner to see if I could hit enough units to do MoC early. ended up with Bronya, Gepard, and some good cones out of it. I've just been cashing in whatever other free passes I get for awhile now though and it's been slowly creeping up.

Never use your jades for the standard banner. You will eventually lose the 50/50 and get one of the standard characters instead of the limited one. And unlike Genshin, after 300 pulls you will be able to choose a 5 star from the standard banner, so if you're missing someone you will be ok.
Jades are best kept for limited banners.

You act like I don't know this. I know it's a economically unsound but I did it for a bit to jumpstart my team into doing clearing content early cause it's fun. I'm not gonna miss the 50 pulls worth of Jade and am hoarding for awhile since I'm not super enamored by Kafka or any of the other early banner.

I've been super lazy playing this (and Genshin) but I finally finished the Jarilo story and
the final fight with Cocolia had some seriously topnotch direction. The music lyrics coming in on the 2nd half was a huge surprise and hit really hard. On top of the way you get the fire trailblazer? Makes me excited to get more of this game
 
I'm looking for Ideas on what title I should give ver. 1.1. Should I give it a funny title (and I will need suggestions for that because I am a boring person) or just call it the same as what the version is officially called?

Yeah they really gave the best possible conclusion to the Jarilo storyline. Makes me exited for what they will do with the Luofu.

Maintanance for ver. 1.1 will last 5h. 300 stellar jades will be given as compensation (you must be at least Trailblazer level 4). If it's like Genshin, an additional 300 will be given for bug-fixes

 
In preparation for Silver Wolf's arrival, there is a web event where your twitter account will be "hacked". the more Accounts are hacked, the more rewards are unlocked. Final reward is 30 stellar jades.

Got so lucky with my rolls today.

I was able to get Silver Wolf on my first 10 roll and then got her again after another 2 10 rolls trying to build up pity.

That is some crazy luck. I don't think I've ever won a 50/50 here or in Genshin. The best I've ever done was getting Ayaka in 40 pulls.
I'm personally going for Luocha, unless I decide to get silver Wolf towards the end of her banner

I’m not sure I’m ready to juggle this and Genshin, but I was hoping for earlier than this. :(

No PS5 release for months, no controller support on mobile or iPad. I will remain strong for now.

As I was watching the trailer I thought, shadow drop this now and I’m downloading it tonight. Shame.

Decided to look up Luocha's kit and it's interesting (this is based on the closed beta test)

Normal attack Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 50% of Luocha's ATK to a single enemy.

Skill: After using his Skill, immediately restore the target ally's HP equal to 40% of Luocha's ATK plus 200. Meanwhile, Luocha gains 1 stack of Abyss Flower. When any ally's HP percentage becomes equal to or less than 50%, an effect equivalent to Luocha's Skill will immediately be triggered by Luocha and applied to this ally for one time (without consuming Skill Points). This effect can be triggered again after 2 turn(s).

Ultimate: Removes 1 buff(s) from all enemies and deals Imaginary DMG equal to 120% of Luocha's ATK to all enemies. Luocha gains 1 stack of Abyss Flower.

Technique:
Restore
After using his Technique, Luocha immediately heals an ally with the lowest current HP percentage equal to 50% of Luocha’s Max HP.

He's not complitely dedicated to healing, more like a mix between Debuffing and Healing.

The main event started today so now we have an Idea of the minimum Jades we can get from each patch (if they are similar to genshin)
Dailies 2520
Main event around 1200
Minor events 1800 (3 events)
Total 5520 (34 pulls)
Of course there's other stuff I'm not counting, so the number is higher. this is just for Events and dailies. with shop resets, Hoyolab check-in, web events and I guess companion quests if we get one each patch we should get at minimum 50 pulls.

    • It's getting hard to not get silver wolf considering how much positive discussion she is having. Doesn't help that Luocha apparently doesn't resurrect your characters, which was one of the main hopes I had for him.

    If you're interested in SW I suggest you have some sort of plan on how you want to use her, because I don't think she is overwhelmingly strong without already having a good range of units. She really shines on mono type teams, which there aren't a lot of at the moment. Jing Yuan, Bailu, Serval. SW is one. Clara, Sushang, Nat, SW is the phys one. YQ, Gepard, Pela, SW is another. As more support comes out for the different elements she is going to become much stronger, but for the moment she's just pretty good unless you happen to have one of those teams I just named. Maybe you can get away with mono fire too. She's going to be an enabler for MoC for awhile too so good value there. Just if you aren't already loaded up with good units might wanna wait for her rerun. I ended up just getting her, will probably go for Fu Xuan next so I can have the mono Quantum set up.

    I also got E6 Daniel and I have Bronya, so please for the love of god print a Wing Abundance/Pres unit so I can start cookin.

    yeah I retreated from some random mobs first time trying a Silver Wolf team with Yanqing Tingyun and March 7th

    not exactly sure how to use the character lol

    You need to raise her EHR up enough so that you can basically always have a new weakness apply on her skill, then try to run a monotype team so you have a high chance of hitting the correct weakness for whatever you are doing. The weakness she chooses is weighted by party members, so having mono type teams with her bolted on will give you the most benefit. She also applies elemental res shred to that weakness too, so it's a huge double dip on damage. For example if you run Asta, Hook, Trailblazer as a cheap mono fire team, you're going to basically have permabreak off Asta's skill and TB autos, while Hook will DPS down the target by abusing the defensive shred. Whenever a target is already weakened, SW herself should just auto to apply her Bug debuffs and build skill points for the rest of the team to use. Her ult is also an extremely high DEF shred so just dump it on CD.

    She's in contention for best unit in the game and is going to be much stronger as more units come out, but at the moment she requires a higher investment of EHR relics and other strong units around her to really see it. The last 2 banners were just generic DPS that shine right out the gate with minimal investment, so I just wanted to point out for anybody rolling what to expect when they get her. Once she has all her traces, gear, and teammates she allows for some real ignorance.

    mihoyo isnt even trying to hide her relationship with Bronya.

    Saw an update on Kafka's kit from the beta, so here it is. To keep it short, she is really good with characters that deal DoT (damage over time) like Serval or Sampo.

    Caressing Moonlight - Skill | Blast (Level 10):

    • Energy Regeneration: 30
    • Weakness Break: 60
    • Deals Lightning DMG equal to 160% of Kafka's ATK to a target enemy and Lightning DMG equal to 60% of Kafka's ATK to enemies adjacent to it.
    • If the target enemy is currently receiving DoT, all DoTs currently placed on that enemy immediately produce DMG equal to 90% of their original DMG.

    Twilight Trill - Ultimate | AoE (Level 10):

    • Deals Lightning DMG euqal to 80% of Kafka's ATK to all enemies, with a 100% base chance for enemies hit to become Shocked and immediately take DMG equal to 100% of the DoT. Shock lasts for 2 turn(s).
    • While Shocked, enemies receive Lightning DoT equal to 299% of Kafka's ATK at the beginning of each turn.
    • Deals minor Lightning DMG to all enemies, with a high chance of Shocking them. If the enemies are currently Shocked, the Shock status deals DMG 1 extra time.
    Gentle but Cruel - Talent | Single Target (Level 10):

    • Energy Regeneration: 10
    • Weakness Break: 30
    • After an ally of Kafka's uses Basic ATK on an enemy, Kafka immediately launches a follow-up attack and deals Lightning DMG equal to 120% of her ATK to that enemy, with a 100% base chance of increasing the DoT DMG received by the target by 20% for 2 turns. This effect can only be triggered 1 time per turn.
    • After an ally uses Basic ATK on an enemy, Kafka immediately launches a follow-up attack and deals minor Lightning DMG to that target, with a high chance of causing that target to receive increased DoT. This effect can only be triggered 1 time per turn.
    Mercy Is Not Forgiveness - Technique

    • Energy Regeneration: 0
    • Weakness Break: 60
    • Immediately attacks enemies within a set range. After entering battle, deals Lightning DMG equal to 50% of Kafka's ATK to all enemies. In addition, each enemy has a 100% base chance to become Shocked for 2 turn(s).
    • While Shocked, enemies receive Lightning DoT equal to 182% of Kafka's ATK at the beginning of each turn.

    Be careful, there are ost leaks with boss names for ver. 1.2 circulating online. One of them also has what looks to be the key art for the version.
