I'm going to skip all of 2.2 except Fu Xuan. After that, Firefly and Jade and the the supposed Acheron buffer in 2.4. I currently have 159 pulls ready. Assuming my pulling luck continues, I should be able to get them all.

Interesting to see no 4* in 2.3. For 2.2 I assumed it was because of the next trailblazer path, but here it feels odd, especially if we're moving off Penacony after 2.3. Pour one out for Siobhan, she was a long shot but I really liked her quest.

Maybe we get the new March 7th stuff in 2.3? There isn't a lot of build up for it in the current story, but Black Swan is from the Garden of Recollection, so she could be involved. It could also be related to the Harmony for all we know.

Side note: Any ideas for what relic set is good for Robin? I was thinking I would farm Messenger but it seems like she doesn't really care about Speed.

Haven't followed any guides for her, but just by quickly looking through the RobinMains Sub, you'd want to go with any set that gives atk on the 2piece (so something like 2pc musketter, 2pc Prisoner and Glamoth/Space Sealing Sstation or planar set should do), then atk chest+orb with the goal of reaching 4000 atk, then ERR Rope. Consesus seems to be to get as close to 4000 atk as possible and then the classic 134+ speed to recharge the ult as fast as possible and get any stat bonuses.
 
Turns out Jing Yuan is my most used character, makes sense since he was my first DPS and first I levelled to 80. Happy Anniversary HSR 🍾
 
I don't have much need for Boothill's kit but maaaaan he looks fun. Love me some cowboys. Might wait and see about him. Really bummed with the 4* selection though, I maxed out Luka going for Aventurine and I don't like Pela. More Hooks is alright.

i'll go for Fu Xuan this patch since i've been waiting for her since her first banner. i've maxed out all the 4* except Luka at E5, so it will be just a bunch of free wishes for me.

Topaz rerun huh... I do need a FuA team for Pure Fiction... But I also don't want to cut into my Sam savings too much... Decisions, decisions.

Topaz and other Hunt characters are not really good for PF because they are single-target only and Pf favors any character that can hit 3+ enemies. Give a decent build to your Herta + other Erudition characters (Destruction characters are fine too) and you should be able to clear it no problem.
Hunt characters are still very good for MoC however.

Oh I didn't know Topaz is Hunt I thought she was Erudition. My Sam stash is safe then

Just farming Erudition trace materials for Herta and Hackerspace for any new buffer/debuffer characters that will be showing up.

Might skip 2.2 altogether so might as well max out some older characters.

So I finally finished the first part of the Penacony story and am just about to get to the Aventurine backstory. The big plot twist about
Robin being killed and Sparkle imitating her was wild.
Penacony is fun to explore with a great aesethetic and the sticker collecting is also a fun little thing.

The only downside for me so far is that Firefly felt like a forced waifu character and I did not particularly care about her.

Yeah, these are from the beta preload. We've had some rough animation leaks for Firefly too. We're not getting gameplay footage until Tuesday morning.

Firefly is playable in the overworld but Sam is the one who is controlled during combat. You can control Sam in the overworld if you use Firefly's technique.

After using ultimate, Sam will switch to an alternate form (enhanced state) where he dual-wields swords. I'm pretty sure that dataminers found that Firefly has cut-ins that appear whenever Sam attacks.

Oh boy she is VERY stat hungry to make full user of her.

You got two routes, either forget about Critical hits or add that but you need godly RNG in sub stat rolls.

As we approach the end of the Penacony story, I've decided to do some changes regarding spoilers. Here's how it will work from now. Let me know if you wish to change something
  • Main story spoilers MUST be put under spoiler until the end of the first phase banners (usually 3 weeks). Once phase 2 banners release, story spoilers won't need to be put under spoiler. However, if you wish to put story events under spoiler even after the phase 2 banners release, you can.
  • Officially revealed content don't need a spoiler (Character reveals, Trailers, previews, etc.)
  • Events, Lore and other things don't need to be put under spoiler

Longer thoughts:
They absolutely cooked! Pretty much everything had a satisfying answer

  • Death being basically a taxi into the hidden dream is hilarious. Even funnier is that this multi-eyed, screeching black monster is apparently a well behaved pet. Gallagher and misha going "he's usually so well behaved" like normal pet owners is even better
  • Holy sh*t autism got mentioned! Caught me off guard!
  • I love all these JJK memes
  • misha being the Watchmaker and Mikhail was unfortunately spoiled to me just an hour before I got to that part. Thankfully it didn't ruin his story
  • sunday actually following the Order instead of the Harmony was insane. We already knew that Ena was absorbed by Xipe, but I thought it would be just a small lore detail, never to be brought up again. And then it was brought up again. sunday as well was really good too. They actually gave him some good reasons to act they way he did.

Then comes the ending. When I beat the boss and everything was wrapping up nicely I was dissapointed. Dan Heng using the Jade Abacus on something like this also felt like a waste. The IPC giving up everything was dissapointing.
I was ready to think of it as another dissapointing ending like the Luofu.


AND THEN CAME THE FAKE CREDITS!

When Black Swan mentioned that Mika was not supposed to be in reality my jaw dropped.
Everything after that was just peak. The boss, the cuscenes, THE MUSIC!! Us using the express and ramming it into the boss was incredible, acheron name reveal (tho it was obvious that it was Raiden Mei or a variation of it)
The entire little side story between Acheron and the third nameless was nice. and then this reference.

There are still some dissapointements

  • Robin having very few scenes despite how important she is.
  • Not seeing the actual Dream master instead of just his crow
  • Sparkle
  • Argenti not having any voice acting (apparently just in English) or any scene aside from the one fight.
But everything else was just incredible.

can't wait to see how they wrap up everything in 2.3
 
Ahhh I wanna dive into spoilers so bad but still need to finish the 2.1 story. Glad people are saying it continues to be enjoyable!
