I could see AA7 being announced or teased for sure. I still totally would like them to do more stuff like Great Ace Attorney. I had fun with that game and am almost done with the second one.

Yeah, the GAA collection was set for FY21 Q1 and AA7 was set for FY21 Q3.

Yeah. AA7 is listed as in production in the leak, and AA4-6 is listed as a potential trilogy to release if people buy enough copies of other games in the series.

It's clear that AA7 was delayed at some point, and I think that might have more to do with staff like Yamazaki, Kodama, and Kojima leaving than anything else.

I'm a bit curious as to why they didn't get the AA5/6 art director to do any illustrations. He hasn't been credited on anything for a while now as far as I know. Hope he didn't leave too lol.

Here's hoping for at least an announcement soon.

Nothing says "20th anniversary celebration" like the artwork made to celebrate it completely disowning the later half of the series.

I'm guessing the focus is on the trilogy and GAA because that's what they're selling on current gen platforms, but it is still a misfire to not have artwork made for 5 and 6 by Fuse. (I'm also hoping the continued GAA focus is meaningful beyond that but, y'know, probably not.)

Also a bit silly to only list the four male protagonists next to that history section, even if yes, they're the only characters to have helmed a title by themselves.

For some stupid reason I never got AA3 back in the day, despite enjoying 1 and 2, so I've basically not been able to get the other AA game for fear it would make no sense. So now I've finally beaten 3, thanks to getting the trilogy on Switch, I can finally see what the other three games are about.

Shintaro Kojima was the producer for the original release of Great Ace Attorney on 3DS. I'm not sure if he was there for GAA2 or if Eshiro took over for that one.

Shinsuke Kodama was the Planning Lead for GAA1/2 and the director of the HD Trilogy. I think he also worked on the Layton crossover as well.

Thank you for the clarification. Using just Kojima, not knowing there was a Capcom Kojima(I haven't played GAA yet, though I have the collection it's on my must-play when finished with current games list), I assumed you were referencing Hideo.
