This video came out a couple days ago, but I didn’t see it posted on here yet. It’s a great watch!

I assume most of us know the history behind Mario’s name, but there are some nice tidbits in this video. Especially the story behind the Donkey Kong name that’s backed up here by court records.

I'm mainly curious how Norman managed to get a hold of that Donkey Kong concept art. 🤔


He has a list of sources on his Website, but no timestamps.

It might be one of the Pix'N Love books. But they look to be incredibly difficult to find. Especially the English versions. Who knows what other important pieces of trivia are locked to those books?
