So... 73 games (+ some DLCs/Expansions) as of today. Your guess is right; I'm unemployed since the end of 2020 ahahah. I enjoy the free time while I can.

I finished my third run of Metroid Dread today. What a fu**ing great game. As a fan of Metroid, I am really happy with this new entry. I didn't usually enjoy 100%ing Metroid games, but damn, this one managed to get me through it 3 times in a row. I did 100% the game, and unlock all the bonuses. So sad it's already over :(

Currently I'm playing some WarioWare (Wario Cup every week is really cool), I have 2 specials episodes from PDM Explorers of the Sky left (idk when I will finally do them), maybe another run of Metroid Dread ahah. I also wanted to play again Metroid Samus Returns, since I only finished it once.

Where do you all get all this time?
I played MH Rise, I just beat Dread, played some more FFXIV (which I will play the upcoming expansion) and other than that don't have the
time nor energy really. I guess I should stop watching Wrestling and Anime?

I can only speak for myself, but not being able to work allows me a great deal of time to play games. It's not necessarily the best use of my time, but who needs to go outside, right?

So as I said in my first post, I'm unemployed since December 2020. I had a rough period due to work back in September-November 2020 and I quit my job because I was about to go crazy lol. I've been living off my wages ever since, I can do that because I have no rent to pay. Didn't find any job since, there's nothing in my area. But I'll move in about 2 months I'll have to find a job soon, so I enjoy as much as possible the time I have left.

Wow, I'm impressed with some of the lists here! Maybe its just how I play but I very rarely get through more than a couple of larger titles a month.

I have finished so far:

  • God of War (2018)
  • Mass Effect: Legendary Edition
  • Pikuniku
  • Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition
  • Hitman 3
  • Star Wars: Squadrons
  • Undertale
  • Control
  • The Walking Dead: The Final Season

I just managed to get an OLED model Switch as an upgrade to my Lite so I'm looking forward to trying out Metroid Dread on the new screen.

Beaten? Video games? Now isn't that a nice thought :p

I actually did beat at least one that I remember though, I played through Raging Loop. It was fine. Had a lot of problems. Would have rather invested all the time into a better visual novel.

Plenty of half played games though. Ikenfell was a standout. Would be nice to finish it sometime.

So... 73 games as of today.

(PS: I didn't specify that some games are 100% and/or with DLCs.)

I've just beaten Metroid Samus Returns for the second time. 6 hours, 60%. Not bad!
I enjoyed it more than the first time I guess. Always loved Metroid 2 and its concept, I've finished AM2R a couple of times, always wanted to beat the original on GameBoy (but I don't have the motivation at the time), and Samus Returns was one of my most anticipated game of 2017.
MercurySteam did a great job remaking the game in my opinion. Obviously it's not perfect, there are some problems here and there, the bigger being to me the fact that this is a 3DS game: handling it can be pretty difficult sometimes, I ended having hands pain lol, the game lacks of accuracy due to the 3DS analog stick, and tbh it really is a technical mess. Samus Returns doesn't look good, mainly on the technical part, but also artistically, it's waaaaay behind the previous entries (but they are in pixel art so that's different here). Maybe these are the worst flaws of the game: handling and the atmosphere being not well transmitted.
Nonetheless I really like the game. It seems MercurySteam did their best at the time to provide a new, refreshed view on Metroid 2 and maybe even on the entire series. It's classic Metroid, but even more dynamic, with new additions that I think are very cool (like Aieon powers) even if they aren't fully operated. The map is super well crafted, there's plenty of things to do if you want the 100%, and it just feels like Metroid to me. I am understanding the problems of Samus Returns but I've never understood why so many people didn't like it.
Not the best game in the series but still really really cool. I'll give it a solid 8 out of 10.

EDIT: Adding Luigi's Mansion (AF* - 3DS version) and Castlevania: The Adventure (GameBoy) to the list.
(*Already Finished)
