this was one of the games dropped during the 2022 goldrush of devs attempting to get carts out before Nintendo stopped manufacturing them. alongside other notable titles like Go Go Kokopolo 3d (+ a native 3DS port of the original DSiware game) and Andro Dunos II.
the developer (William Kage) went particularly wild with the console though. as he somehow managed to get a free downloadable expansion out on December 2023, 9 months after the eshop closed.
he also attempted to publish what was basically a tech demo on the store with the plan to eventually replace it with a full RPG later on, but i have my doubts the intended "full game" update will be approved.
there's a physical release planned for this port as well. though it's obviously not as magical as the original.
