An 8 for Mario + Rabbids feels so good. The series deserves high ratings, imo - we don't get this much soul in Mario spinoffs these days, at least not since The Origami King.

That's my point though. Each reviewer is different. Like DKC Tropical Freeze getting two different scores from the same outlet for the WiiU and Switch versions. What changed was the reviewer, not the game or outlet.
