Garbage Galaxy Do you think Wayforward will re-balance the Advance Wars 1+2 Multiplayer?

I heard that apparently the original had some balancing issues, like some COs being blatantly overpowered, certain units being useless (Battleships), and certain simple cheesy strategies being too effective i.e infantry spam.
I expect the Single Player to be the same, but will Multiplayer be changed?

Difficult to say when we don't know how they will approach it. Ideally there would be three rulesets: AW1, AW2 and AW1+2 rebalanced but maybe that would lead to too much fragmentation.

I feel they are going to rebalance everything, at least for multiplayer. Campaign is going to depend on how much they want to retouch and rebalance the old maps.

They def feel like they're holding off some of the footage to improve the look of the game since E3

The core gameplay mechanics of AW aren't balanced and I'm not sure how you could ever fix them. Heck due to how the economy and combat works the player who goes first always has a massive advantage in 50:50 "balanced maps"
