For those of you who are unaware of this series, it's a collection of adorable shorts about the titular Molcars. A merger between a Guiena Pig (mol) and a car (car). It's all on Netflix and takes about 32 minutes to watch all of it. So go ahead and watch it first!

You done? good.
This brand new Molcar game is a mini-game collection, featuring some absolute bangers like Soccer and Dance-offs!
40 Molcars are included, and you can customize them by adding a variety of accessories.

The wildest part? It's launching this year*~
That's right, Namco has confirmed the game will be hitting store shelves on December 16th! Geoff Keighley really should delay The Game Awards to ensure this title gets the nominations it deserves!

(*The release date is currently for Japan only.)

This actually looks cute.

But yeah it seems like Bamco had to make a decision 3 years ago - do we spent the resources on quality Day 1 Switch ports of our original big games targeting gamers.......or on ....well you know xD

I wonder what it's like to be a Molcar, to be a guinea pig with wheels. I bet they have more fun than us humans.

officially getting localized, according to Amazon.

Nighthawk is publishing it rather than Namco, the likely reasoning being that the western merchandising rights for the series are owned by MGA Entertainment. makers of the L.O.L. Surprise line of dolls (which had it's own games published by Nighthawk.)

also, as a reminder. Geoff has previously allowed games that got localized years later to get nominated at The Game Awards (I.E. Persona 5, Live A Live), so you now know what game is gonna be sweeping the show this year! 😎

Oh shit, that's random as fuck!

Similar scenario with Billion Road on Switch, instead localized by Acctil of all folks, but never got a retail release.

Boy, Nighthawk could make a killing localizing JP-only Switch games. Hell KT have a legion of already localized on other platforms Switch ports rotting in Japan. Offer them a hand!

Nighthawk has properly confirmed the localization
