Has there been any more whispers of the PC version since the Gematsu article? Borderlands Pandora's Box has since been announced and released so hopefully the BK PC port is also real.

My English copy from Play-Asia shipped yesterday and should be here soon. Won’t be playing it any time soon though.

My copy arrived. I was so confused when I head english vo in intro. The game looks beautiful. I guess Im taking a break from work for now :ROFLMAO:
 
So I didn’t know but, the second game is not in french or other european languages like the first game is? That is highly awkward for a collection. Thankfully I’m bilingual..

It's extremely fucked up that they used that old E3 trailer for the attract mode in the first game on the collection, both because it includes the old pronunciations for Gibari and Malpercio and more importantly, it uses the english VO that they didn't put in the collection!

Not a disaster but these remasters could definitely be better. I'm usually not very sensitive to it but the framerate feels all over the place here and I keep noticing weird hiccups. The 1.0.1 patch didn't really do anything, hopefully they keep improving it after launch.

Couldn't pass the first battle with
Giacomo
in Baten Kaitos Origins, no matter how many tries and how many times I reshuffled the deck.
Solution was to level up a couple of levels (I wasn't avoiding normal encounters by the way), problem was that at first I didn't notice that you could return to the precedent area for farming exp (it seemed a point of no return).
Whoever designed that early encounter miscalculated big time!

I thought that deck building and luck would have been enough to pass any/most battle but it wasn't the case for me.
 
Game should finally come home today.

I'm so giddy diving back into this insane world.

Giacomo battles are kinda skill/level checks in both games.

They're also the source of two absolute bangers of battle music.

Maybe asking too much but would have prefer to choose ad hoc which battles to avoid or instant ko like holding a button before the encounter starts. Anyway I'm still planning to get this release eventually, only played the first one and really liked it.

Yeah, they really should allow for some of those changes mid battle too. I accidentally reached a boss while at 200% battle speed and had to beat it like that... not convenient!

Very nice that he uses the just released patch. Sounds like a lot of QoL issues were patched but the performance is still rough in both games. Hopefully Logicalbeat really crack down at fixing the framerate when they're able.
 
Just picked the game up on sale today. I loved Baten Kaitos but haven't played it in 20 years since it launched. I never played Origins.

Oh did it finally go half off on sale? That’s what I’ve been waiting for I made it to disc 2 on the first game years ago but screwed up my inventory and got locked out XD
