Music What song are you listening to right now?

I wasn’t really feeling Lost, but this feels like a proper classic LP track. Still miss Chester all these years later.

Does this count as a 'song'? Anyway, I'm listening to this tonight. One of my absolute favorite pieces of music ever:

No hyperbole, this is more beautiful a rendition of this song than I ever thought possible. It really does sell the wonder of being in a "Strange New World".

Zombies Ate My Pirate Ship by Alestorm
lol, gotta love Alestorm. I still remember one time I was at the gym listening to Pandora (a very random metal-y station) and mid-set "Fucked with an anchor" came on and I nearly dropped the bar on my head, had no idea what the hell it was and it was my first exposure to them :p

Funnily enough, I have a kinda similar story to this. I work in a cafe and we were just closing up. We usually play music while we clean and close the place and it was my turn to do so, so I put on a random metal playlist. About three songs in, this upbeat, nice sounding song came on.... and two seconds later, we hear "FUCK YOU, YOU'RE A FUCKING WANKER".

I ran to my phone to turn it off because my manager or any customers heard it and everyone in the kitchen just burst out laughing. That was the first time I'd heard Alestorm and I've been listening to them ever since.

I've been working on a project where I'm re-recording, re-creating, and re-mixing a pop album I made about ten years ago using all my shiny new (and vintage) equipment.

So I've been listening to various mixes in the car, AirPods, monitors, etc. And not much else lately.

I'm currently deep in a sad music funk and finding lots of old songs that hit me hard, just rediscovered this one that I love from Wolf's Rain:
