Over 7 hours and 20 minutes without a post in a General Discussion thread has to be a record right?

What games are y’all playing? Been enjoying Trails To Azure this weekend.
Fire Emblem Engage. I’m just about to finish it after 2 months since release.

Game is pretty long in maddening so maps would take hours or retries.

And I’m looking forward to do a “goofy” run in maddening where I try new characters and job classes. Now that I understand The game’s mechanics and whatnot as well. And use the DLC early as I can to see how it makes the game. I did use Soren tho as soon as I could cause he’s a favorite character of mine and couldn’t resist. He’s pretty awesome emblem in-game. Great emblem attack and Bolting makes it super easy for certain things.

And other than that. Octopath 2 as well. Choosen my character and played about 2 hours. Put it down until I’m done with engage tho, maybe next week I’ll start it up again. Left off in a pretty good area

D4 beta early access absorbed all of my time yesterday. Got my character to the max level allowed for now (25). Now probably going to try to finish Paranormasight before RE4R hits.

So I’ve been benchmarking some games on my PC and I’m not really sure I can tell the difference between 40 and 60fps, even when it’s constantly fluctuating between 40 and 50.

Feels like things are a bit slow now and we're in the pre-Zelda doldrums. Well, other than actually playing all the great games that are now out! But for news and general excitement, there's not a ton going on right now until we get whatever the next Zelda drop is going to be. I guess PAX is this week? But I don't think we usually get anything out of that.

Yeah pretty much, I’m still playing Galleria (might have to reincarnate at least one more time to beat the boss I’m stuck on, if I don’t end up just saying “screw it” and turning on easy mode,) Bayo Origins, been replaying Skyward Sword before my BotW replay, and messing around with my Steam Deck. Don’t really got a lot to talk about but I’ll still pop in and muse every now and then.

Been playing SMT V in second to last dungeon, inching ever so close to the end. After i complete it i'll probably play a game i dropped or Harvestella or play a pc game.

Ugh, I’ve gotten reckless on my Xbox backlog DX. Maybe I’ll type up the highlights. As if my switch one wasn’t bad enough
It's absolutely overwhelming how much content there is in Theatrhythm. Great game tho.

I’m waiting for a sale cause I want all the dlc. Demo was awesome tho. Wish they were doing characters for the dlc franchise(Live a Live, Nier, TWEWY) that would’ve been a cherry on top

Finally Ryza getting her own anime. And they announcement just one week before the Game, they hyping it

Let’s see if we just include stuff I want to actually play and is finishable:{* means not installed}
Ace Combat 7, Agents of Mayhem*, Asura’s Wrath, Attack on Titan 2, Blue Dragon , Breakdown, Conker live(I’m more than halfway through), Dark Void, Guardian Heroes, GunValkyrie, Indiana Jones and the emperors tomb, Kameo, Lost Odyssey, Lost Planet Trilogy, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, Metal Wolf Chaos XD, Nier Replicant, Rumble Roses XX, Sid Meyers Pirates, Soulcalibur VI, Space Invaders Infinity Code, Sphinx, Stacking, Time Splitters 2/3, Virtua On OT, and Zone of the Enders HD collection(half way through this).
Left out stuff that’s more of replays or I’m not really worried about as a focused game(and more of a screw around game)

Huh, not that bad, And I’m trying to do a breather game before I do Nier replicant cause I loved automata but don’t wanna burn out

I've got... I have no idea how much more to do in Galleria, I haven't reincarnated at all yet although I did just unlock the ability to do so. I'm at the point where I'm in the first world for the second time, re-gathering all the 9 Curio D'Art. It feels like I'm about to unlock something big and new once I finish this section, I think.

How is it? Compared to 2 and 3?
It’s hard to tell because so much depends on the post game activities. That said, the gameplay loop so far is fantastic, and there’s a staggering amount of content in the beta which is only like 1/5 of the entire map. The story is also more grimdark and overall better written than D3’s, but I do miss some of the levity from the previous games.

Overall, I think it’s a clear improvement on D3 vanilla, but jury’s still out on whether or not the post game will be enough to keep me engaged.

I’m about 70 hours into Theatrhythm. I’m working and finishing the feats in the game, just have a few left.
Started up Kingdom Hearts (PS4) for the first time. I think I’ll have enough time to get through that before TotK comes out.

You don't happen to own a G- or Freesync enabled monitor?

what? how?

Five Guys is pricey but I don't think it's "$25 combo meal" pricey. Neither is Shake Shack for that matter

believe me, i get it. but what fast food place costs $25+ for one person?
Dickies.

Gonna take a guess and say Five Guys
Actually close, the Five Guys near me is $20 for burger, fries, and a drink.

I will report any slanderous posts about Five Guys, just fyi.
Same. Absolutely love that place. Chopped onion and bellpepper for me plz

Idk where you live, but you should be able to make more than that.
Ya know I totally agree. LOL
I spent a year job hunting and submitting resumes before finding a place that'd even interview me, so when the interview turned into an offer I took the job and didn't look back. One of my coworkers there managed to get an unsolicited job offer from a bigger city just by virtue of his Instagram posts though, so it's possible I just literally don't understand how all this shit works anymore. I'm used to tucking in my shirt, going to a place with my portfolio, and talking to people. Dunno wtf people do these days. Check Facebook maybe? 😅

Yeah it’s crazy I haven’t looked for a job in a decade so I’m not sure how things have changed lol. Idk if you’ve tried applying to a bank or even care to work at a bank, but Truist banks minimum wage is now $22 an hour. They just raised it late last year. I have a relative who works there and really likes it.

Holy cow, okay, I like the sound of that. I mean, looks like their locations are all on the other end of the country from me but I wonder what WFH would be like for a bank? 🤔

gosh i sure do love five guys. it may be expensive, but the burgers are fantastic and they’ve got maybe the best fries of all the fast food places.

Me: I need to eat less garbage since my parental duties prevent me from working out as much.

Me browsing Famiboards: Where is the next Five Guys, again? Is driving 25 minutes worth it…?

Five Guys hot dogs are pretty good too.

I've heard great things about their milkshakes too but I ain't paying 7€ for a fast food's milkshake lol

I'd pay Jack in the Box quite a bit if they brought back their original Pumpkin Pie shake from years ago.

Five Guys fries are great because the founders went to Ocean City, Maryland and got Thrasher's fries, saw the line down the boardwalk and said "shit, we gotta copy these".

Shit, we ordered food tonight, at first we wanted to have Five Guys, but it was like 75.- for two so we went for BK instead, but all the Five Guys talk makes me regret my decision a bit (even though I have to admit the “whiskey burger” was the best BK burger I’ve had in years, possibly ever, and I still love their chili cheese fries)
