You’re really underestimating how much muscle weighs lol. Compare Ryu’s figure to the guy on the left with similar attributes:

Yeah but his design is a exaggeration but in real world numbers it fits hes lean as possible also

Male in USA, 5'5 and 1/4. It sucks. But I know that some people have it even rougher. And it makes it even more depressing when I go in height threads and people who are 5'10 lamenting their height.
Yes I have a 5’4 friend who i complained about my height to and he legit said he’d murder me for my height brutal

In no universe is someone 5'10 and 150 pounds with that physique.

If you're then turning around and saying, well, the design is exaggerated, then you're admitting as much.
No real person looks like that adjusted for real world then that’s right

If there was a movie I’d expect his actor to weigh around that

Why would people care about height and not looks?
Hmm now that I think about it when I was fat and ugly people treated my like shit and didn’t respect me one bit

But I went to the gym(because I thought muscles would get me girls) and I ended up losing 80lbs, and after that people started complimenting how I looked but not how I’d expect they’d compliment my face say I should model or I had girls ask me out

But I never really noticed it until you mentioned it hmm,

Maybe you can just do what I did

God-“ima make him grow to 6’5 out of nowhere’s to displease him and turn him into a ogre”
I'm assuming good faith but you really shouldn't jump to using he/him for someone who has no pronouns listed and has just used "enby" as a descriptor. Doubly so in a thread where you already admitted you only had men in mind when you made it.

Tbh I thought enby was just a misspelling of baby

Ah, for context then, "enby" comes from a phonetic spelling of "nb" for "non-binary", it's semi-common online and some people like to use it for themselves and some don't. And nb/enby doesn't automatically mean someone uses they/them pronouns (or any other "neutral" sets), but it makes it an even safer bet than defaulting to he/him or she/her, if you don't know someone's pronouns.

Hmm interesting I’ve never really been exposed to this stuff so thank you for explaining so I don’t unknowingly hurt someone’s feelings

To be clear I'm fine with any pronouns aside from maybe some esoteric neo ones and it/its in a non-sexual context, and I don't have them listed because I'd rather people not even think too much about them when interacting with me, though if I had to choose they/them is good.

I’m 171 cm (a bit more than 5’7 according to Google), but all my family is from countries of not very tall people* so it was to be expected. Also I like tall dudes and short dudettes so it’s aight.

I can understand that it’s more difficult in some countries than other to be short, but really it’s not that big of a deal. Being 5’6 didn’t stop Tom Cruise to become the greatest movie star in the world, same with Lil Wayne (who’s apparently 5’5) and rap, etc, etc. Don’t worry my man and be confident in yourself, you got this!

I’m 182.3cm but I’m Scandinavian :(

I’m 5’6”, definitely on the short side.

Also, to be quite honest I am probably a 5/10 or a 6/10 on the attraction scale. Definitely have gotten worse since I gained some weight due to Covid.

I have not been single since my freshman year of high school, have had women( that were taller than me) fight over me, and am now happily married to the girl of my dreams.

You just gotta realize that so many men, that are conventionally attractive have shit personalities, aren’t interesting, and a lot of times not particularly skilled. Get a good personality, some skills that are interesting and unique(for me, I play and teach cello, I do woodworking, I read). I am an extremely interesting person to talk to. And for gods sake, learn how to cook too. The food that I have made in the beginning of every relationship pretty much cemented every relationship I have had.

I'm 8'5" so around average height. The only time I ever think about my height and wish I was taller is when that one really tall person stands directly in front of me at a concert every time

I'm 6'4'' (In the US, but descended from Dutch stock). I think that is a good height, but starting to hit the downsides of being too tall. Planes and busses don't have enough room, and even ignoring my own discomfort I always feel super self conscious about digging my knees into someone's back. I'm also always conscious about where I stand in concerts or other events(sorry @Lim I'm probably that guy). But I can reach and see everything with ease, and don't have to worry about door frames. On one side of my family, I'm actually the shortest of my male cousins, some of whom are close to 7 feet.

Height has only been a point of contention a few times in my life, so generally not enough to be something I regularly think about.

I’m 5’8” and fairly attractive, but more importantly, my meme game is so strong I don’t even need to be this good looking.

6'6". Which here in sanemeasureistan is 198cm

I don't have many issues with my height, it's the width that I'm frequently concerned with...

Joking aside, I dislike how some people view tall people (particularly men) and make assumptions about our character and psyche based on us "winning the genetic lottery".

sanemeasureistan tf is this

I am blessed to be 6’4”. However, I am underweight for my height and have terrible posture. I’ve also got freakishly long limbs and neck. I’m pretty sure my legs are like 60% of my body.

I can't tell if you're joking. At that height you'd still be slightly above average for a Scandinavian man.
No average Scandinavian man is 182-183 sometimes the averages look lower because of immigrants but I don’t love in a place with immigrants

I don't want to make fun of this thread because self perception can have a huge impact on self esteem.

But yours might be skewed.

This is a list of average body hight in different countries:

Scandinavian countries are on the upper end for sure. But most of Central Europe is around the same (2 to 5 cm is a rather minor difference imo).
With 182-183 you land pretty much on the average of the countries with the on average tallest men on earth.

I'm 173cm (5'8), from Scotland but live in Switzerland, I'm a bit of a short arse.
My annual trips to Japan have nothing to do with feeling like a relative giant there, definitely not.
