Hello Everyone.

I am CsrM400, This forum reminds me of forums from the 2000s. Lots of discussion, theories, rumors and above all very good vibes. That's why I decided to join.
I worked in JVLat, the main distributor of Nintendo products and other brands in Latin America. Unfortunately, I have no insider knowledge, as my position is not high enough (sorry guys!), but I did have the opportunity to meet Doug Bowser when he came to our country.

I love movies, books, seinen mangas and of course videogames.

My favorite videogame franchise are:

Ace Attorney
The Legend of Zelda
Xenoblade Chronicles
Mario series
Disco Elysium
Alien
Fire emblem
Metroid

What else can I say, I'm married without Kids (I have plenty of time to play videogames :D)

Hey! I'm Zanreo, a Nintendo fan and gamer from Norway! Randomly found this site through google and thought it looked like a fun and chill community, so here I am! I've been part of a variety of forums since I was a kid and think it's a bit sad how forums are rare nowadays...

I play a bunch of different stuff, but to mention a few favorites: Mario, Pokemon, Neptunia, Yakuza, Undertale/Deltarune, Rhythm Heaven, Taiko no Tatsujin, ...a whole bunch of Japanese/Asian rhythm games in general!, Ace Attorney, Kirby, Parodius, and that's just the stuff on top of my head. Outside of gaming, I like drawing and cosplay.

Hello! I'm doe bloom. I like deer, flowers, and silly stuff. In the last few years, I've grown tired of how you can't hold a conversation through other social media platforms. Since I used to be active on forums in the noughties, I thought I'd try to solve my issues and look into forums. I heard of Famiboards a few times through Twitter and Youtube, mostly. Now I'm here!

Presently, I'm on my second run of Breath of the Wild. The last game I finished was my first run of Nier: Automata. I also started Persona 3 FES for the first time not long ago. I like RPGs! Outside of games, I love horror movies and cooking.

It's nice to meet everyone! ❤️

I'm Capcori, a 28 y/o woman who's been on multiple forums over the years including GameFAQS (I know, I know haha) and ResetEra, and have been looking for a chill place to discuss games and whatever other stuff you can get into! I've recently been disenfranchised by the other recent forum I've been frequenting, and I've heard enough about the migration here that I wanted to hop in and join the positivity!

I've recently been playing Pokemon Violet for a second playthrough, and I'm going through a binge of older games while I wait for the next big release (TotK obviously). Been replaying Paper Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda: Majora's Mask, Metroid Prime Trilogy (for the first time actually!), Metal Gear Solid 2, and Silent Hill 2! 😊

G'day, folks. I'm 32 years old, I'm from Sydney, Australia, and I've been around the block in various places. I'm an aspiring game dev and writer, though my game dev efforts have been somewhat hamstrung by my lack of luck with getting any kind of team together, since I'm mostly just good at design, writing and a bit of coding. I'm still trying on the side, but I'm mostly focusing on my writing projects for now. But my aim as a designer is to create games that better integrate gameplay and storytelling, with the goal of creating games that don't use non-interactive cutscenes to tell stories but are still immersive and deep.

But yeah, I've been an avid Nintendo fan since I was a kid - my first handheld was the original Game Boy (with Tetris, Donkey Kong '94 and an old Japanese SHMUP that I'm pretty sure was Vattle Giuce?) and my first home system was the 64, which I used to play Star Fox 64 on all the time before I got more games for it.

Also, I'm writing a Splatoon/Mega Man X crossover fic called Inky Future - the art in my avatar is a snippet of a commissioned art piece depicting the very first chapter.

Hello! Found this site while googling Nintendo Switch successor rumors/speculation. I spent nearly 17 years on another Nintendo forum that's mostly a ghost town now. I lurked but never joined NeoGAF then ResetEra though I considered the latter until I went to register and saw the email requirements. Back away not today, disco lady.

I got into Game Boy modding during that weird thing that happened in 2020 which eventually led me down the rabbit hole of console hacking so I could play ROM hacks and digitize my old physical games. My backlog is embarrassing.

Other hobbies include fiction writing, occasionally occasionally-blogging, and spending way too much time on The YouTube.

Anyway, I've been looking for a new, chill place to read and talk about Nintendo things. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here.

(After I learn how to use modern forum software)

How do I change my username? Obvious reasons here. I guess if impossible, I'd like to delete my account and make a new one, but I also don't know how to do that, so...

You may get some help by making a support ticket here https://famiboards.com/tickets/, in the least you can request the account deletion from there if changing the username isn't possible.

Hi I'm Johna, I like a lot of Nintendo series and most non-Nintendo series are semi associated (Banjo-Kazooie, Ace Attorney, Cave Story etc), I think this community seems reasonably chill compared to some other places I've seen, not sure how active I'll be but I at least wanted an account. I like MOTHER/Earthbound, Rhythm Heaven, 3D Mario, Kirby and... I mean I like Paper Mario more then Pokemon at their peaks but on the whole I like Pokemon more when it comes to favorite Nintendo game series.

I found this delightful little corner on the internet during the Paper Mario TTYD remaster ordeal. After browsing for a while i was pretty surprised to see discussion about Nintendo games in such a calm, mature and non-toxic way, as someone who mostly discusses Nintendo stuff on Discord, Twitter and Reddit. So i was pretty excited to make an account and join the conversation, and here we are.

As for my Nintendo taste, i currently have a DS Lite, original model Wii, 3DS XL and a original model Switch. My favorite Nintendo franchises are Mario and its spinoffs (specifically Mario & Luigi), Pokemon and Kirby. I wanna try out EarthBound someday. I don't play a lot of games outside of Nintendo, occasionally i'll play some Minecraft. Although i do have a sweet spot for EarthBound like RPGs (Undertale, OMORI, etc).

Also, i'm 17. Is that too young to be here? I don't know. I don't feel too young to be here. Anyhow, that is all i'm willing to share for now to random strangers on the internet who like Nintendo, so i'm going to wrap this up.

As far as I know there isn‘t really a written down rule about age, though I‘d say most active members here are over 20 with the average age probably even over 30. So just be careful, we could be a bad influence and could you make from a TTYD to an Origami King only fan :p.

Hi I'm Bomber Pepe. My first game system I owned was a green brick Gameboy and I've been a fan of Nintendo ever since. Playing through Tears of the Kingdom inspired me to sign up for FamiBoards after lurking occasionally.
 
Hey there! I am Apenknul, and I haven't been on any forums since 2012, and thought it would be fun to join one after such a long time.
I'm a 30 year old Dutch person, who is a gardener at work, and a Nintendo player in his free time. (also PC, lol).

I like all kinds of games, whether it be like Mario Kart, Animal Crossing or Splatoon, I also like GTA San Andreas since thats my childhood game. Speaking of which, if there's a character I really want in a Smash game and to have as an Amiibo, it really is CJ from San Andreas. To many it would be very difficult to think of him in Smash, but I really think he might have a chance as fair as everyone to be in the series one day.

Aside from that, my music taste is mainly Videogame Music and Lo-fi Hip hop.
I also like some Disney related stuff, like Ducktales, but I like other stuff aswell.
From time to time, I get a bit creative and like to draw.

So yeah, that's me!

I'm an indie dev and artist who sometimes blogs about games over in another corner of the web. Lately I felt increasingly uncomfortable making any sincere discussion on social media, because of all the platform manipulation adjacent to it. At some point I just got sick of sharing talking space with senators, and this last year with Twitter was the final straw.

I've lurked in threads going back to GAF and Era, but never felt compelled to register because back then I was mostly focused on tabletop games. (Still very into Cardfight!! Vanguard, even shelled out for Dear Days on Switch...) Nintendo hardware was where I got started with video games, playing the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color, and the Switch has been my primary console since 2017. Early on I was playing whatever they put on it, but it's since become my RPG machine--lotta Ys Origin, Trials of Mana, and Cyber Sleuth logged on there.

Been a Pokemon fan since Day 1, and many other Nintendo franchises I'm hyped up just as much. Outside of that I'm also a big fan of the peak fiction known as One Piece, as you can tell by my profile name (note: I am not the youtuber with the similar name)

when i start this job on thursday, i will very likely sub to crunchyroll and catch up ... maybe switch/add netflix and hulu+disney+espn bundle ( with no ads )

im passionate about tech, i would like to help if i can ... if you have someone close to help, use them before i embarrass myself with untol miles between us to wish i was there to help further ... things are better shown than described

Hello peoples. I joined this forum because my best friend did semi recently and I decided to give it a try myself. I'm relatively unfamiliar with forums but I will do my best here.

-100 precented nier automata and also castlevania order of eclesia
-I can speak Japanese somewhat fine
-I do not like politics at all
-IST-JT is my mbti along with 5w6 if we're talking psychololgy here
-likes hell girl and angel sanctuary alot
