Ooooooh I've been waiting to make this one.

New Music video for "Love From The Other Side", new album "So Much (For) Stardust" out March 24th.

If you're interested in hearing the song without the video.

Fall Out Boy has been my favorite band since 2005; Folie a Deux is my favorite album of all time. The albums released after their hiatus have been varying degrees of good, and while I've enjoyed them plenty, this is like a serious return to form and it feels like the proper evolution for the band. Not whatever pop-hybrid they've been doing for the last 9 years. This new album is produced by Neal Avron, who worked on From Under the Cork Tree, Infinity on High, and Folie a Deux, and it's this tidbit that truly seals the deal for me. He's an amazing producer and it's my dream to have an EXOHs record produced by him. This is going to be a fantastic album; he just knows how to work with this band and get their best sound. Guitars are FINALLY further up in the mix which hasn't felt like the direction for the band in years. Their last album, Mania, had some good moments but felt largely directionless yet still trying to be mainstream. This song feels like the crescendo of all FOB eras. It doesn't completely ditch everything that made the last three albums unique, but it remembers who they are as a band.

I'm really stoked about it and I hope at least one other person is too lol.

Almost shit myself when I read "The EXOHs" in your post before seeing it was you who posted it lol

Sounds pretty decent, I think. I haven't really kept up with them since their breakup, but this seems like more of a rock effort than anything else they've done since. Having their old producer back is probably a pretty big one-up for them. Makes me sad we'll never get Jerry Finn blink.

lmao imagine? one day.

yeah talking to some friends some more about it, it seems like the consensus is that it's the first time they've put something out in years and years that feels like Fall Out Boy, despite the shift in sound and tone. And having the old producer makes me confident that the rest of the album will follow suit.

Another new track “Heartbreak Feels So Good” out this Wednesday the 25th. Here’s hoping it creates a streak of bangers.

So this style of guitar riff is something they've done on a few songs in the last few years ("Last of the Real Ones", "Bob Dylan", "Champion") and I'm not crazy about it but it's such a small part of the song it doesn't bother me too much.

That said, THIS is what I always wanted the post-hiatus songs to sound like. This fucking chorus hits.

Also the banter between Pete and Rivers in the video is great. "Dude, you wrote Africa. You're gunna do great." lmao

The boys are going on tour this summer with...Bring Me The Horizon lmao!

Wild lineup but this is another feather in the cap for this era. They're rediscovering their roots and the scene is building itself back up again.

Hope I can get tickets to the Holmdel NJ date
