Idk, maybe I'll fuck around and get into teletubbies lore

Edit: baby teletubbies exist, apparently. Seen in the 370th episode (holy shit there are a lot of episodes) titled "Babies" are teletubby babies, implying the four main characters are actually full grown adults.

Edit: wtf? The primary driving force of each episode seems to be commands and instructions given by the "voice trumpets", disembodied voices coming from several speakers on long poles coming from the ground. Are they really being monitored by aliens or something? Are the aliens humans? Was @ElisaurusWrecks joking?

Edit: apparently there are exactly five different models of voice trumpets seen throughout the show, with all five being shown in the intro. Except for a rare sixth model, seen in only two episodes. What's so special about this one?

Edit: episodes are 24+ minutes long??? Each episode blurb is like a paragraph. What is happening in these episodes? I'd hate to see a filler arc.

Edit: that windmill is definitely discharging some type of agent.

Edit: yeah, the voice trumpets actually rise up from the ground to deliver their commands. Unsettling. I want to know who is controlling the teletubbies, and why they deem it necessary to disguise their influence by distancing themselves. Are they a bunch of British whitecoats writing notes? Who's paying them to do this? What's the purpose of this operation? I need to see behind the curtain. The existence of a rare sixth voice trumpet is nagging me.

Edit: there's an episode called Numbers - 7 that is about the number seven. Like, learning how to count to seven. I've seen children's show episodes based around a letter, it this is the first time I've seen one based around a number. Feels weird. It's the 225th episode of the show. I really hope they're teaching them in order.

Edit: THAT WAS THE FINAL NUMBERS EPISODE. THEY LITERALLY GAVE UP TEACHING KIDS NUMBERS AFTER SEVEN. Apparently all the Numbers episodes were scattered amongst the first 67 episodes of the original series (as opposed to the reboot), with 7 being episode 67.

The Numbers episodes, in order of airing, were:

Ep. 003: Numbers - 1
Ep. 013: Numbers - 2
Ep. 023: Numbers - 5
Ep. 025: Numbers - 4
Ep. 027: Numbers - 6
Ep. 034: Numbers - 1 (Version 2)
Ep. 042: Numbers - 2 (Version 2)
Ep. 055: Numbers - 5 (Version 3) WTF??
Ep. 067: Numbers - 7
Ep. 110: Numbers - 5 (Version 2)

So there's no 3 episode. Just skipped a whole number. The third one. And why did they redo some of the episodes? Did they fuck up teaching kids 1, 2, and 5 the first time around? Why spend the time and money redoing numbers they've already covered instead of going back to the one they missed?
And why did they redo 5 *twice??
And how was 5 (Version 3) aired before (5 Version 2)???

Edit: the faceless flowers talk
I should have warned you not to delve. The void has you now

Cool tech demo.

~waits~
I mean yeah, pretty much everything Sonic Team did for the Saturn amounted to such 😅

But then the Dreamcast came along and unleashed Sega's creativity and arcade prowess to such a degree that the company had to go under lest the entire industry collapse from imbalance like Kefka pushing a statue...

Alright, I'm going to bed. I regret this

This, for some reason, scratched a core memory of the music my dad listened to while I was growing up because my head went immediately to this song:

it is now my headcanon that this is the song @bellydrum sings to himself while checking notifications

Nostalgia rush right there lol. Gotta respect my parents music.

So, it's all but confirmed that the Direct is on the week after Splatoon 3's launch week? Next week is going to be a long week~

Okey relating to FE, I kinda want them to do back to back remakes lel. Gimme a FE4 remake and then a FE6 remake soon after :> (Who cares about Thracia lul).
Oh and if PoR's gonna get a remaster, I need them to do me a favor and make Killer weapons buyable in the Armory. That was one of the few grips I had with the game, it was the only game where Killer weapons were extremely limited for whatever reason instead of being traditionally buyable later on. Every other game in the past and future (including its sequel) had Killer Weapons ready to be easily bought at around the midgame. But PoR was the odd one out and didn't have them in armories.
I got a better idea, remake Thracia as DLC (It's a small game) for FE4 Remake. I really want to play FE8 remake one day as it was my very first FE game and what got me into the series.

They’d have to shorten Thracia quite a bit to make it viable for DLC which would be a bit of a bummer but I’d love a game that combines both FE4 and FE5.

They should make it like the Torna expansion, wouldn't have to be smaller.
Torna isn’t anywhere near XBC2 in terms of scope despite reusing a lot from the maingame. I fear that relegating an entire full-fat game (which Thracia is) to DLC would inevitably gimp it.

Super Paper Mario has by far the best ending in the pm series.

A few days ago here was discussed that the game is slow to start and that is true; outside of the sharp humour it mostly doesnt feels like the story is going to pick up. T

Thankfully it does; I guess its due to the characters being developed through the entire game: Bleck is constantly on screen, and so is Dimentio and Tippi and the others.

The climax really feels deserved unlike for example in TTYD where the last chapter is a let down in both story and villain (i dont blame the shadow queen she shows up in the last minutes of the game).

From the couple's romance, the villains camaraderie which would later be proved important, to Dimentio actually being the main villain (which for once was well foreshadowed!)

Seeing Bleck and Tippi holding arms at the end is probably the most emotional part of any mario game and a real blow to the guts... in a good way? Is that a thing? Lol.

I've got such mixed feelings on Super Paper Mario. On the one hand, it's unique and weird. On the other hand, it isn't actually all that fun.

So now we have rumored to be in the upcoming Direct: Zelda Blowout (BotW2, Zelda HD Remaster), Metroid Prime and GC Remasters?
Did I get this right?

The problem with combining both Judgral games into one package is that Thracia's gameplay is fundamentally different from Geneaology.

Thracia has stuff like fatigue and capture that aren't found in GotHW and it also lacks stuff like Holy Blood.
Both games also have classes that can't be found in the other one and the map design couldn't be more different from each other,

I guess they could incorporate the general story of Thracia in the FE4 remake if they really want to be done with it and get to FE6 immediately after that.
I doubt fans of the game would be pleased with this solution though.

This is dumb, every possible combination of GameCube remasters has already been rumored and discussed at this point, and Liam has no real info. And it's not "GameCube NSO" or anything like it because that's not happening on the current Switch.
Viewtiful Joe is widely considered a GameCube series, despite it also being on PS2, and Liam has Capcom/Platinum sources.

well for starters, i won't call thracia a small game

releasing thracia as a DLC sidestory would just feel pretty confusing, especially for people who've never played the jugdral games before, these are completely different games

Since when and why did September become E3 month part 2? I mean Nintendo's been doing Directs in Sep consistently since 2017 and TGS has always been there. Did Sony get the ball rolling even more with their PS Showcase? Now Ubisoft and Disney are doing stuff?

Speaking of PS Showcase, am I the only one that thinks that the reason Sony does only one big show in September is because they decided to split the difference between E3 (June) and their XO thing in December (December)?
