One of the most rare Mega Man releases ever. Translated into English officially.* And they just...tweet it out. :ROFLMAO:

But in all seriousness, the NGPC version of these arcade games has been hard to come by for collectors for age, so it's good to see it!

*Update: These games are literally the original JP ROMs. Granted, you don't really need to understand what's going on to play these games, but just thought I'd give a heads up before people download.

What a random release, but a welcome one. All for the more obscure entries getting international rereleases!

Heads up for anyone who doesn’t know, the original 2 arcade games this is based off of are on Capcom 2nd arcade collection

I wish Capcom would release a legacy collection for all the more obscure/quirky Mega Man games. Battle&Chase, Soccer, MM&Bass, etc.

Heck, they could even throw in stuff like the roman numerals Gameboy games, or Legend 1 and 2 if they are not planning on having a collection for those.

Is there any value in getting this over the arcade collection versions? Other than curiosity?
I’d imagine there’s some nifty bonus content like a gallery… that’s only useful if you can read Japanese. Pretty sure it’s the same price too(NGPC games are $8 and the arcade games are $4 a pop and it’s 2 games)

So that your friends can look at your Switch profile and see how much time you've spent playing Mega Man Power Battle & Fighters specifically lol

I really loved this cart (and have been kicking myself for selling it ages ago). While the arcade games are beautiful in their own right, these versions combine NES style sprite art with super fluid animation you’d expect from the NGPC. Just a very cool interpretation of classic Mega Man, and it’s impressive that every single playable character, weapon and boss from the originals is accounted for here.

published by SNK so yep, as long as the death general Prince owns them I can't buy this, sadly. Would have been an instant buy otherwise. Hoping there'll be a NGPC Vol 2 released and in physical form so i could pick that up used though. Code Mystics does great work, which makes it all the more infuriating... I wanted Sonic Pocket Adventure so badly, but now I'm not even sure...

And there it is, Need to see what the exclusive are, Last one was a good enough deal that even if you had one or two already it was still a discount on the rest. And since I only got one game that may overlap I should be good to go. I’m going digital this time, last time wasn’t worth the wait and it honestly makes me less likely to play physical

There's something about being familiar with the original arcade version since like the change in milleniums and then only to learn about this NGPC version today that feels like... yes, my mind's been blown.
