Ok here goes from my understanding:
Every character in the game is a clone, the game is stuck in a loop of the same stuff happening over and over again by the Consuls so that they can create a world without choice/where nothing I out of their control. The Consuls leader is a man named Z, the blue horned guy from the trailer, he's also the final boss. I only saw stuff about him in the final cutscenes but he seems to be related to the Fog.

All the Consuls are people who suffered somehow/realized the true nature of the world and want to create a world that stagnates, where nothing can go wrong, with no choice. For example, there's two consuls, N and M, who are the original Noah and Mio. It seems that when N (I'll use N for original Noah, the first one that existed) was a kid, original versions of Eunie and Lanz and Joran were there too. That's when the worlds merged, you can also see that in a trailer when kid N is looking at a new planet earth just appearing. Anyway, N meets M (original Mio) and they fall in love and eventually have a kid. This is conjecture on my part but the kid doesn't show up anywhere so I'm assuming the kid dies and that's why they join Z to create a world without pain/choice.

Throughout the game you get bints that everything just keeps repeating to create a "perfect" loop. Eunie finds her body at one point completely carbonjzed by a consul.


In the final fight N and M appear again as spirits from Noah and Mio's bodies, and they defeat Z for good.

By doing that, the worlds start to split apart again, it's a really sad scene where the party runs toward each other but the distance just gets larger. Mio and Noah kiss too, it's really sad. After the worlds are split again, that revert time wise to the original point where they merged originally, except now that there's no fog/Z they're not gonna merge anymore. It seems really sad, except kid Noah now hears the flute that Mio plays, so maybe just like Klaus in XC2 he got a final gift and Mio exists in the XC1 world now :)

I've only seen the ending and watch my friend play a bit, so I can probably answer quite a bit if you have questions. There's also a really sad twist at the end too:

since the worlds will be reverted time wise to before they merged, everything and everyone in Aionios will not exist anymore. Noah hezitates to revert the world when he learns this, but Aionios only characters encourage him to anyway

Kind of an obvious answer but is it really Nia and Melia in the trailers we got? And does Pyra and Mythra appear besides the pic that was already shown? If they do please dont spoil the way they appear to me, thank you :D

the ones in the trailers/the masked ones are robots created by the Consuls. The actual ones are imprisoned somewhere but they appear at the end and transform the Keves/Agnus capitals into giant mechs and have an awesome battle with the Consul Mech, which is called "Origin"
Pyra and Myhtra don't appear beyond the pic

FEEDBACK: The use of the term 'harem chad', and the general tone of this comment, is quite sexist and flippant. Even if it's meant as humor, Famiboards doesn't accept this kind of 'locker room' talk. -Aurc, Donnie, hologram, paranoodle

I only saw one specific spoiler relating to Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2

So, he has children with Pyra, Mythra AND Nia. And get this, what makes it funnier is that they all more or less have his babbies at the same time. They made him into a harem chad.

I’m pretty much ignoring story spoilers and just going straight for the jams. So far everything I’ve listened to blows XB1 and XB2 out of the water.

Of course, I fully expect it to get ignored by outlets at the end of the year as is the case lol

Finished chapter 1 after 4 hours.

  • Agnus characters are better in chargin arts, and actually in killing enemies faster.
  • Auto attack can be cancel with arts or specials, arts acording to the tutorial also with both, but for the moment only with specials( could be a pasive skill learn after ch1 like xc2)
  • There is no meaning for figthing, and thats kind of sad because both bands has suffer enough
  • QOL to the top
  • without OC CPU I found some lags in cinematics
  • had 1 crash (like early xc2) in this 4 hours.
  • already 2 xc2 cameos
    zue and yew are vandham party members and they die after 10 seconds of screen lol

also, I forgot to mention but besides wanting to make a world without choice Z also mentions that they kept repeating the loops because it was funny/interesting to watch, hence the theater theme and everything there.


I actually wonder what his backstory is lol, he seems super interesting.

I am looking for the music used at the end of the Xenoblade 3 Direct, I hope it will be uploaded in the near future. It was a more orchestral version of A Life Sent On if I remember correctly.
 
Seems to be pretty similar thematically to P5R, what with the “perfect world”, albeit with a much more negative tone towards the antagonist. Interesting.

This is pulled from the first game, it's called Shulk and Fiora. Maybe they couldn't use any of Shimomura's work directly for 3 but were able to get permission to use this arrangement of the main theme by ACE+.

ethel joins you as a hero after you break her mind control in chapter 2 and the. Leaves forever by the end of chapter 2.

Ethel and cammuravi also kill each other

Hope monolith can give a perfect ending for main characters of xc3 in dlc content. I hope the future of both sides can be connected together and they can reunion again. The ending of the main story is a little sad for me

The series has always had serious themes. X2 took a more light hearted tone in for the first half of the game and sprinkled it more, but X1 has very little light tone IMO. Same with X.
 
the more I think about the pic, the more I dislike it. it was funny at first. I really wanted Rex to end up with pyra(or Mythra/other firm), but now it just feels like a joke and destroys any kind of romance there was in xb2.

Also a very interesting fact, that nobody talks (maybe alot are playing on emulators and not on swicthes). This game is Switch Pro/2 Ready. It always use 96% of CPU and GPU on switch, it doesnt matter if I ultra overclock it or only overlock a little it takes it all to run as clear as possible.
 
Ahahaha, Rex wasn't being oblivious when he said he loved everyone. He was being completely sincere.

That's hilarious. It probably won't go down well with a lot of people, but I'm here for the insanity.

God it's just great that one picture that is shoved off to the side and most won't experience, will not only dominate this game, but has already caused people to say that this game is a harem hentai anime game. Which is great. Just great. Let's forget that it's a story with a whole new cast of characters that are the fucking focus, no it's now a harem hentai game. Great. Absolutely great. /s

Hell people in other places are now actively spreading misinformation to get people to not buy the game because of this one picture. Great. Absofuckinglutely great. Even "Nintendo is now a lover of hentai, hope this fails to teach that company a lesson!" Who doesn't love a actual malicious effort to get a game cancelled. /s
