From how they're describing it, this might be one of the older style "just do the thing and coins will mysteriously appear in your account at some point" ones.

Maybe Arms? They've been going though Year 1 games for the first set every month, and Arms seems the most likely to me out of the remainders.

Or they'll bring back an already done game and do different avatars. The Odyssey ones didn't cover everything IIRC.

As much as I would love Nintendo to acknowledge ARMS again, every ARMS character is already a profile icon available in the Switch’s default profile icon menu.

Live A Live seems a bit difficult to see, we need to question how many others first party games has inserted Nintendo inside the Missions&Rewards, and what’s left? because as we saw they’re their main focus, and also knowing their modus operandi I wouldn’t be surprised if they will take back Odyssey icons to fill the gap.

In the end if it’s not Xenoblade it could be a title from the past pertaining to the Mario series, I’d put by best bet on Mario+Rabbids icons to fuel the hype of the upcoming sequel. Otherwise Xenoblade as just I said

ARMS in his beauty unfortunately is a dead game, Nintendo tried multiple times to relaunch it and I doubt some icons could help the situation. We need to wait only a couple of hours

Hmmm they did! But there also hasn’t been so much as a Pikachu Switch Icon yet in the Switch’s 5 year history, so I feel like they’ve got some weird trepidation towards users being able to represent themselves as a Pokemon. Maybe they’ll pleasantly surprise me! I’d love to represent myself with Fuecoco (best goblin)

That hasn’t stopped them from doubling up on other icons elements that are already among the default profile icons! Plus any new ARMS icon elements would include frames and backgrounds unlike the existing ones.

But yeah, I’m a bit doubtful of it happening too, unfortunately… I’m really not sure what to expect for this month though, since we’re now going in completely blind. Xenoblade icon elements would certainly be nice, but I kinda think might want to put out icon elements for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Definitive Edition first before Xenoblade Chronicles 3. We could also start getting icon elements for 2018 Switch games, if they really are just gonna skip over ARMS and Xenoblade for now…

Oh hey, so we are getting more Super Mario Odyssey icon elements after all! Kinda figured they may just leave it at what was already released to avoid spoilers, but I guess not! And they’re still sticking with launch year Switch games for the Monday updates, so hopefully there’s still hope we’ll get ARMS and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 icon elements eventually as well!
 
They’ll be plenty of time for Xenoblade icon elements later. I wonder if they wanna get icon elements for 2 and Definitive Edition out before they give us ones for 3. Regardless, XC3’s DLC will keep the series relevant for at least the next year or so, so Xenoblade icon elements could drop at any time.
