So this is the overalls season?

I laughed at the intro, that Starfield delay was rough for many people.

I loved that episode. I appreciated Kyle trying to find good things to say about these three titles. Congo actually looks like a fun game. And his introduction felt very relatable this week.

No car horn. Which is understandable.

Another great video. Agreed so much on his takes on what he calls the biggest three trailers. I really do think that if I didn’t love RE4 to death, that trailer would have nothing for me.

Definitely agree that the SF6 trailer was by far the best of the Big Three Sony had yesterday. Too bad Sonic Frontiers gameplay happened this week too, I would have liked to see Kyle's take on how that looked.

Such a great episode, I also agree on his takes on the SoP. As someone who's barely played RE4 (I'm a big coward, I can't play anything horror related and I bought RE4 3 times), that trailer did nothing for me.
Despite I'm still not totally sold SF6 the trailer was well made. FF16 was just me going "wtf, the summons are fighting each other?!" while the other scenes and voices were just noise to me.

lol I’ve bought RE4 twice, and both times I fully intended on playing it. Both times I barely made it past the first village with the chainsaw guy. I’m just not cut out for horror games.

Loved the episode but the tone kind of sounded like weird Japanese game gatekeeping to me in that Xbox shouldn’t even bother so why bother?

At 2 PM central today (1 hour from now), Kyle will be co-hosting an episode of Minnmax's Trivia Tower. It's Patreon exclusive though, so you'll have to pony up a couple of bucks to Minnmax if you want to watch or participate (the top prize is $500 + $500 to the charity of your choice).

I’ve been enjoying Delayed Input, and maybe this is my bias as a Xenoblade fan showing, but this just felt like obligatory cynicism.

I usually love Delayed Input and Kyle's comedy chops are great, but it seems like without someone as excitable as Huber and the others Kyle can spiral towards cynicism in a way I'm not really a fan of.

I'm a big 'ol biased Xenoblade fan who's tired of the recent animosity toward a long-awaited sequel to a series I love so throw my opinion in the trash if you need to.

Episode wasn't Kyle totally indulging his snobby side that I had feared.

It started out as an honest attempt to examine his own hangups about the mechanics and menus BUT it was also unfunny in that part.

The second half was more humouros mixed with insights on storytelling methods BUT there was nothing to explain how the same criticism doesn't equally apply to every other JRPG Kyle likes BUT it made light of spiders in the week of famed arachnophobe Ben Moore leaving Easy Allies which inherently creates interpersonal conflict and that is interesting!

It's also weird because he focuses on a sentence summary and not really anything anyone actually says? And they more or less answer his "but" issue with characterization. Probably could do with a stronger argument there.
