One of my most anticipated games. My buddies and I played Turtles in Time endlessly on SNES. Got to the point where we could beat the game in under 20 minutes!

Really looking forward to playing this with friends. Has online multiplayer been confirmed yet?

I’m still thinking they’ll sneak Casey in as an unlockable. He was in the Konami games these homage

Yes!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously I cannot wait to pay this game. I was bummed that it got delayed but understandable given what is going on in the world still.

There should be more TMNT games in this world.

After how excellent Streets of Rage 4 ended up, I'm incredibly excited for this one.

The pixel art gives me GBA vibes. Such a pleasant aesthetic.

Yep! I'll definitely be there, day one. The only thing I'm hoping for, at the moment, is a few more Archie TMNT-isms getting in, besides using their wholly superior version of Slash as a boss.

Like, I'm probably alone on this, but I'd rather have Hot Head/Warrior Dragon as another playable than either Casey or Splinter.

There should be more TMNT games in this world.
The only amendment I'd add is that there should be more GOOD TMNT games in this world. Like, it's utterly depressing that of the superhero franchises that did well for themselves within the last decade or so, the TMNT largely missed out on all of that.

And just when I hoped that maybe the Viacom/Nickelodeon buyout would mean things would change for the better...it really didn't. The Activision/PlatinumGames joint should've been a slam dunk, but was instead a flop. There was plenty of licensed shovelwares and mobile stuff to be had based off of the 2012 show and 2014 movie. But beyond the TMNT making waves with their well-done DLC appearance in Injustice 2, we didn't get much that really showcased what this brand could do with the right dev and funding.

As much as I love Shredder's Revenge, and again, will be there opening day, I really hope this inspires more confidence. We should be definitely getting more beyond just throwbacks to Konami's classic era of games.

Looks great, look forward to buying it, playing it for an hour and getting my fill on beat'em ups for the year, as is my way. Will be worth every penny.

When I saw the initial reveal, I wasn't massively enthusiastic about it because I love the style of the original arcade game but after seeing more footage of it, the game looks meaty and really fun to play. Can't wait for this to come out.

This game looks absolutely wonderful, I was a massive stan for the classic cartoon iteration of the franchise as a kid so there are massive nostalgia pangs there. Big shout out to anyone who hears the theme song in the first trailer and mutters "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" to themselves 😂

Oh wow, I had forgotten this game was still coming this year. Q4 is absolutely massive this year in terms of quality releases, both big and small.

Edit: I'll leave this up as is, so you can all see what too little sleep does to your brain.

Boy, as someone who grew up with the 80s cartoon, i CANNOT wait for this game.

I just need to get used to the refreshed intro song ... but it's hard for anyone on this world to top the greatness that was the german version performed by the great Frank Zander!

Also, woah. Didn't expect to see Emiliy here. Nice to see you! ^^

One of my most anticipated games of the upcoming year, looks stellar!

Not that familiar with Tribute Games but DotEmu is golden so I expect this to be amazing =)

Being based in the 80 cartoons is a huge plus for me. Adult April is cherry on top.

It’s made of a lot of devs who did Scott pilgrim and the cgi movie based GBA tmnt game

I would have preferred hand drawn artstyle similar to Streets of Rage 4 but I won't say no to this at all. Hopefully the dev team take on other franchises too. I want "The Simpsons Sideshow Bob's Revenge", please.

I have wanted this exact game for so long. I played a ton of Turtles in Time and Hyperstone Heist when I was younger, and I always thought it was a shame this series kind of disappeared over the years. Having Tee Lopes on the soundtrack is the icing on the cake.

It sucks that we will probably never see the NES/SNES/Genesis games ported over. That will make this game so much more exciting!

Shredder’s Revenge really looks to capture the spirit of the classic games in a way that just feels so right. It's been difficult seeing the various attempts in recent years struggle to nail the formula and constantly fall short.

Let's hope this one hits the spot. All the signs look right this time around.

Wasn't super enthused about Tribute Games in their early days but Flinthook is legit fantastic so I'm really looking forward to this.

Can't wait to finally get it; I have fond memories of playing the TMNT arcade game back in the day.

Clearly doesn't need that cane, maybe he could give it to someone else who likes carrying a bag full of various sticks.

"He's a radical RAT!"

K when’s Casey, all the Konami games these were inspired from generally included him

He really only showed up three times in the "Old Konami era", to be quite honest. Playable in the NES/Famicom and Genesis/MegaDrive versions of Tournament Fighters, and as a NPC who would rescue your turtles if they all got their asses knocked out in Manhattan Missions on PC.

My best guess is that because Casey didn't play a huge role in either the Fred Wolf toon nor the Archie comic, he didn't really factor as part of the "main squad" in that era of games until towards the end (and by that point, they even threw in the likes of Karai, as an antagonist, who had only appeared in the Mirage book).

Splinter's body language is conveying "Get these hands" so well and I'm absolutely living for it.

Was not expecting TMNT news until later this month! Hopefully that bodes well for more info at:

fingers crossed for a release date

Splinter looks amazing and will definitely be my main other than Donnie.

TIL it’s “splinter taught them to be ninja teens” and not “splinter taught them to be a ninja team”…

This game looks great.
